Welcome to Dawgs Unleashed! We are pleased to offer dog day care services to our valued customers.
By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of Services
Dawgs Unleashed offers dog day care services for small to medium sized dogs.
Conditions of Daycare Services
Dawgs Unleashed reserves the right to refuse entry of any dog at its sole discretion.
All dogs are required to undergo a trial before they can join daycare services.
Behavioural Concerns
We do not accept reactive behaviour in dogs, this includes reactivity towards other breeds of dogs and/ or leash reactivity.
Behavioural conditions and/or previous observations of any behaviour that can affect your dog’s ability to integrate into a group setting must be informed as soon as possible to a Dawgs Unleashed employee conducting your dog’s visit. Behaviours may include, but are not limited to, fear-aggression, social assertiveness, excessive barking, excessive mounting, aversion to particular breeds, aversion to strangers, reactivity. Any behavioural information helps Dawgs Unleashed employees protect the safety of every dog and furthermore, themselves.
If a dog begins to present any signs of reactivity and lack of social etiquette towards other dogs during their stay with Dawgs Unleashed, the owner will be notified and will be responsible to organise for their dog to be picked up.
Desexing policy
All dogs must be desexed by 12 months or earlier (if recommended by a veterinarian), or due to behavioural issues that may arise as they age. All female dogs due to or on heat can not attend daycare.
By using our daycare services you are agreeing that you have read, understood and agree to the Dawgs Unleashed terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are in addition to our assessments and socialisation criteria, all of which are subject to change without notice. By accepting these terms and conditions, you certify to the accuracy of all information given about your dog when registering.
Fees and Payment
Dog Daycare
The fee for our dog day care services is $65 for a full day. For an additional dog from the same household the rate is $55.
The fee for our dog day care services is $45 for a half day each dog.
For services required outside of business hours a $25 fee will be applied per additional hour. This includes early drop offs and late pickups.
Health and Vaccination Requirements
All dogs using our services must be up to date on their vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. Dogs must also be in good health and free of any contagious illnesses.
All dogs are to be fully vaccinated (C5 for dogs and F3 for cats). All dogs must have current tick and flea treatment upon admission that lasts for the duration of the Services. To the extent the treatment expires throughout the duration of the Services, the Owner is responsible for ensuring additional treatments are provided upon admission.
If during the visit Dawgs Unleashed considers your dog to be unwell and/or infectious, your dog will be isolated and you, and/or your secondary contact, will be notified immediately. Your dog will remain isolated until collection is arranged.
Drop-off and Pickup Times
Doggy daycare
We are open from Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 6:00PM.
Drop offs are to be done between 7.30AM to 9.30AM. Pick ups are to be done between 4:00PM to 6:00PM.
Half day pickups are to be done within the 5 hour service. A late pickup will result in a full day charge.
Full day pickups are to be done within the 11 hour service. A late pickup will incur an additional $25 fee.
Emergency Situations
a. In the event of an emergency or medical situation involving a dog, Dawgs Unleashed will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner or emergency contact.
b. Please notify us of any pet insurance details prior to booking.
b. The owner is responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred during emergency situations.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel your dog's day care reservation, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can reschedule your booking. Cancellations are non refundable and can only be rescheduled to another day within the same week. If you wish to cancel the same scheduled daycare a second time, you will lose the booking and will need to re-book online.
Liability and Indemnification
Dawgs Unleashed is not responsible for any injuries or damage that may occur to dogs while they are in our care. Customers agree to indemnify and hold Dawgs Unleashed and its employees harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses that may arise in connection with their dog's use of our services.
The Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of their pet while it is in Dawgs Unleashed care and hereby indemnifies Dawgs Unleashed and shall keep Dawgs Unleashed indemnified to the full extent permited by law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability on Dawgs Unleashed. The Owner shall be responsible for any loss or damage to any of the Business property and accepts that the Owner of the pet will be liable for any damages caused.
In the event that a dog engages in a fight with another dog, the owner acknowledges that no refunds will be issued.
a. Dawgs Unleashed will make reasonable efforts to separate dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour and the owner will need to organise for their dog to be picked up .
b. The owner is responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred due to injuries sustained by their dog during a fight.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of NSW.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
Dawgs Unleashed reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify customers of any changes by posting the revised terms and conditions on our website.
